How tall is tna crimson

He picked up his first pay-per-view victory at Sacrifice, where he soundly defeated Abyss. In the midst of his feud with The Monster, he joined forces and gained the respect of Samoa Joe. Similar to Crimson, Samoa Joe also had an undefeated streak of his own earlier on in his career.

Tension was teased between the two prior to Sacrifice, which was built upon in subsequent weeks on Impact. At Slammiversary, Crimson had an impressive outing against Joe and picked up what was considered an upset victory over The Samoan Submission Machine.

While Crimson flourished in the tournament, Joe lost almost every match he competed in. This led to jealousy on Joe's part, who proceeded to viciously attack Crimson on the August 25 edition of Impact Wrestling and take him out of the series. Following Bound For Glory, Crimson entered a program with Matt Morgan, who thought he would be the one to put an end to Crimson's undefeated streak.

The two met in a match at Turning Point, which went to a double disqualification. Personally, I had high hopes going into the event but was disappointed with the result. That being said, it began to dawn on me that Crimson wasn't as deserving of the push he was receiving as some officials thought.

They managed to coexist as a tandem and went on to have successful title defenses against the likes of Devon and D'Angelo Dinero, Samoa Joe and Magnus and Mexican America. Needless to say, they worked much better as a tag team than they did as rivals, but it was only a matter of time before their reign as champs came to an end. They dropped the straps to Joe and Magnus at the Against All Odds pay-per-view after tension was teased between the two.

They failed to win the titles back on the subsequent edition of Impact Wrestling as well as at Victory Road. At the latter event, Crimson speared Morgan right out of his boots, costing him the match and turning heel in the process.

As a babyface, Crimson simply wasn't over and felt out of place. However, his heel turn rejuvenated his stale character, as it allowed him to brag about his lengthy undefeated streak in singles competition. Sure, he still wasn't getting much of a reaction from the TNA audience, but he was gradually garnering heat week by week.

He continued to feud with Matt Morgan in subsequent weeks, barely defeating him in a Steel Cage match at Lockdown. In the months that followed, Crimson didn't engage in a full-fledged feud with anyone on the roster. Instead, he issued open challenges on a weekly basis, defeating the likes of Shannon Moore and Eric Young at Sacrifice.

The biggest issue with Crimson's undefeated streak was the fact that it drew many similarities to Golderg's famous streak in WCW. The fact that Crimson was also using the spear as his finishing maneuver didn't help matters, either. After defeating then X-Division champion Austin Aries in a non-title match on the June 8 edition of Impact Wrestling, Crimson took a shot at Goldberg by saying his streak was longer than Goldberg's streak ever was.

He also issued an open challenge to anyone at Slammiversary. Although many thought the open challenge would be answered by the former WCW champion, it was instead answered by the returning James Storm.

Within mere minutes, Storm soundly defeated Crimson at Slammiversary, ending his undefeated streak at a whopping days. Despite having his undefeated streak snapped at Slammiversary, I strongly believed Crimson would still land a spot in the second annual Bound For Glory Series.

While there, Crimson made major strides in the squared circle as well as on the mic. On the January 13 episode of Impact! Mayweather, now renamed Crimson , returned, attacking Abyss backstage and promising that "they" would be coming to take out Immortal on February 3. The following week, Crimson repeated his actions from the previous week, this time attacking A. Later that night, he saved Kurt Angle from Immortal by attacking Abyss with Janice, his nail-covered board, and sidelining him with a storyline injury.

On the January 27 episode of Impact! The match ended with Jarrett pinning Angle for the win. Afterwards, Crimson and Angle were saved by the returning Scott Steiner. On the February 3 episode of Impact! On the February 24 episode of Impact! On the April 14 episode of Impact! Crimson made his pay-per-view debut on April 17 at Lockdown , where he and Scott Steiner were unsuccessful in becoming the number one contenders to the TNA World Tag Team Championship in a four tag team steel cage match , which was won by Ink Inc.

Jesse Neal and Shannon Moore. The following month at Sacrifice , Crimson defeated Abyss in a singles match to win the feud and keep his "undefeated streak" intact. Crimson then moved on to feuding with Samoa Joe , stemming from the fact that during the past three weeks, Joe had on two occasions turned his back and walked away from the ring, after Abyss had blindsided Crimson, claiming that he had not needed anyone's help during his own 18 month undefeated streak in and The following week Crimson entered the Bound for Glory Series to determine the number one contender to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and continued his undefeated streak against the likes of D'Angelo Dinero , Bobby Roode and Bully Ray , taking over the number one spot in tournament standings.

Crimson and Angle faced each other on the August 25 episode of Impact Wrestling , but the match ended in a disqualification, when Samoa Joe, who had previously vowed to ruin the Bound for Glory Series, attacked Crimson. The attack resulted in Crimson suffering a storyline ankle injury, which forced him out of the Bound for Glory Series.

Crimson returned via satellite on the September 15 episode of Impact Wrestling , announcing that he would return to the Impact Wrestling Zone in two weeks. Crimson returned on the September 28 episode of Impact Wrestling , challenging Joe to a fight. During the fight, Joe slammed Crimson's injured ankle into a guardrail and locked him in a heel hook, before being run off by Matt Morgan.

The following week Crimson defeated Joe in his return match. On November 13 at Turning Point , Crimson wrestled Matt Morgan to a double disqualification, keeping his undefeated streak alive. On January 8, , at Genesis , Crimson and Morgan made another successful title defense by defeating the team of Magnus and Samoa Joe.

During the title match against Magnus and Samoa Joe on March 18 at Victory Road , Crimson turned on Morgan, costing the team the match and turning heel in the process. On April 15 at Lockdown , Crimson defeated Morgan in a steel cage match to keep his undefeated streak alive. On the May 10 episode of Impact Wrestling , Crimson and Morgan were set to face each other in what was billed as their "final confrontation", however, before the match could start, Morgan was attacked by Bully Ray.

After Morgan was stretchered away, Crimson was given a countout victory. Three days later at Sacrifice , Crimson defeated Eric Young in a singles match to keep his undefeated streak alive. On June 10 at Slammiversary , Crimson's day undefeated streak ended, when the returning James Storm answered his open challenge and defeated him in a singles match. Crimson returned to Impact Wrestling on June 13, claiming that he had been sent home for a year after his day undefeated streak had ended.
