Perfect budget stopover motel. Very friendly owner. Reception is friendly. Swimming poor is outside. I made a last minute booking in the evening and then rang ahead to make sure that my arrival time was ok. The manager couldn't be helpful enough and was very polite and accommodating. Got my keys, a clean room and good undercover parking. It was only a short stay but I will stay again there next time I'm in town!

Perfect for my budget! The Motel is ideally located for anyone passing through Rockhampton. Only difference is next time I would request a quiet room away from the Highway as heavy vehicles were thundering by all night. I would however stay there again.

I have stayed at this motel many times and have not much to report on the negative. Only problem I have had there is the TV channels splatter in and out so very restricted on what you can watch. I tried to watch the news but gave up and went back to my computer when I was only getting every other word. Convenient and really clean. Most importantly, it was really quite in the room. Well located and easily accessed this hotel was also well priced when we stayed. This hotel presents as clean and modern.

Only a few minutes drive to all major fast food, a service station on the next corner was fantastic for an 11pm emergency purchase of a toothbrush The only negatives and these are minor was: -The garage facility for the car was incredibly small, and I ended up parking in a guest space as my car could just not fit, and the other is that there is a gorgeous little courtyard out the back. As I said, very minor, but if I was staying there longer I would have been a little frustrated about my kids not being able to go outside and play even though we were ground floor.

I would stay there again for a short stay, or if I had older or no children. Overall a very lovely place to stay. We were sitting at a local hotel having a quiet beer and started to get harrassed by some locals, this made us and our children rather uneasy. The Capricorn Caves nearby are definitely worth a visit. There are some pretty gardens and old railway museum to visit. Small town, the best thing is Stockland shopping centre and the pretty buildings down the main street.

Yippon would be nice to visit and the beach. It is a workers town to the mines and industry. I booked this short notice as I was en route to the NT and not sure what distances i would travel.

Met with a cheery smile by a gentleman that couldn't fine my booking as it literally had only just been made 20 or so minutes earlier. As I was enjoying my nice cold beer I couldn't help but notice the beautiful aromas drifting around - even though i was outside. Needless to say I didn't have Malaysian that night - happy I opted for an exceptional meal, great value for money. It's always a good sign when a restaurant is busy, with a number of the local Indian population also choosing to eat there, another good sign.

Bed was very comfortable, pool was a welcome relief for a tired body, and the shower was hot and powerful.
